There are so many important stories happening in our schools and cherished communities. Those not routinely seen on local news stations or in newspapers.

Our strategic approach allows partners to chart their personal paths and manage their own narratives.

The SugarDitch Communications team is comprised of public relations professionals, industry consultants, educators, freelance journalists, graphic designers, and creatives.

Our Team

Lynn Craig is an Emmy-nominated and Associated Press Award-winning journalist. She spent a decade in the newsroom as a television reporter before transitioning to a career in education and public relations. Dustin Barnes

Public Relations Consultant

Dustin Barnes lives and breathes public education and HBCUs. The proud Grambling State University alumnus chased down news leads as a reporter long before changing channels and choosing a career in school public relations. By day, he runs a communications department in North Little Rock. After hours, he chips in to help identify stories of marginalized communities and groups. Barnes is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.

3

Chauncy Prentiss

Senior Strategist Consultant

Chauncy Prentiss is the consummate public education champion and product strategist of sorts. The Mississippi Delta native works closely with the team to shape goals, drive messaging, and recommend production solutions. The son of retired educators, Prentiss also plays a pivotal role in brand and marketing execution. He attended Jackson State University, and is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated.
